Vietnam Visa Exemption
Important notice on Vietnam Visa Exemption (visa exemption to Vietnam): The Government started to reapply the bilateral and unilateral Vietnam visa exemption policy from March 15, 2022.
What is a visa exemption?
Visa free (also known as Visa free), is a country that allows foreigners to enter and stay on its territory for a certain period of time without having to go through visa procedures or pay visa-related fees.
Thus, Vietnam visa exemption is the Vietnamese government allowing foreigners to enter and stay in the territory of Vietnam for a certain period of time without having to apply for a Vietnam Visa or pay fees related to Vietnam visa.
This form of visa exemption is completely different from the 5-year Visa Exemption Certificate currently issued to Viet Kieu, spouse/children of Vietnamese citizens or Viet Kieu.
To be eligible to enter Vietnam under this visa-free category, citizens of eligible countries must ensure:
- Passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Vietnam; and
- Passport with at least 02 blank pages.
