Kingdom of Spain

1. General information

When visitors enter and exit Spain, foreign nationals are required to have a valid passport, or other alternative document with an accompanying visa.

The issuance of short-term Spanish (Schengen) visas is currently carried out according to the circumstances and according to the assessment for each individual case, with criteria such as the purpose of the trip and the intended time of return home.

– Visa applicants must legally stay in Vietnam.

– Visa applications must be submitted as early as 3 months or at least 15 days before the intended date of travel.

– Applicants must submit their students in person at the intake center according to the scheduled appointment. The biological data (10 fingerprints and digital photo) is taken when applying for a visa.

– The application is considered based on the documents provided by the applicant (Incomplete documents may be refused a visa).

– When necessary, applicants may be asked to provide additional documents.

– All documents in Vietnamese must be accompanied by notarized translations into English, some documents require consular legalization.

– All documents must be accompanied by notarized translations and originals for comparison. The reception room retains only translations.

– Documents and documents must be A4 paper size, documents by fax and e-mail are not accepted.

2. Basic procedures for issuing a Spanish visa.

+ Employees: Labor contracts, appointments, personnel reception, salary confirmation, social insurance.

+ For students: Confirmation of the school’s learning.

+ For retirees: Documents proving pension rights.

+ For foreigners residing in Vietnam: Work permit, legal residence visa.

– Financial proof documents: Passbook, bank account statement, balance confirmation.

– A declaration confirming parental authority for a minor applicant traveling without parents, accompanied by copies of ID cards, passports of both applicants, these documents must be legalized consular certification.

3. Detailed procedures according to the purpose of entry to Spain.

* Travel Purpose.

– Invitation letter of guarantee (if any):

+ From a tour organization company in Sweden accompanied by legal documents of the tour company.

+ From 1 individual who is a citizen of Sweden or a foreigner residing long-term in Sweden: Provide the face of the sponsor’s passport, accommodation facility; Provide documents proving employment, income, finances, personal account statements, commitment to cover all expenses for the invitee during the stay.

– Detailed itinerary for the duration of your stay in Sweden.

– Documents as proof of stay in Sweden (book hotel).

– Proving the applicant’s bond in Vietnam: Red book, other income proof documents.

* Business Purpose.

– The original invitation letter of the organization or business in Sweden, please ensure that it includes the inviting party’s details, the inviter’s details, personal identity details, the list of invitees, the address of the invitees, contact information, the time and purpose of stay and the relationship of that company (person) with the applicant,  The party paying the cost of the trip, the itinerary details the trip.

– Business registration of the inviting company, the passport of the person signing the invitation letter.

– Documents as proof of stay in Sweden (book hotel).

– Business registration of the company in Vietnam, confirmation of tax payment.

– Account statement of the company in Vietnam in the last 6 months.

– Decide on the work of the company whose personnel are invited.

– Documents proving the commercial relationship between the 2 parties.

* Purpose of visiting relatives.

– Original invitation letter (form No. 241.011) of an individual who is a citizen in Sweden or a foreigner staying in Sweden for a long time, please ensure that it includes the inviter’s details, invitees’ details, personal identity details, inviter list, etc  The inviting address, contact information, time and purpose of stay, and the inviter’s relationship with the invitee, the party paying the cost of the trip. The invitation letter states the responsibility and commitment of the applicant to leave the Schengen area before the visa expires.

– An extract of the registration of personal information issued by the Swedish Tax Agency. Side of the invite’s passport.

– Proof of employment, income, finances, personal account statement, confirmation of tax payment, confirmation of accommodation of the inviter.

– Documents proving the relationship: Birth certificate, Marriage registration certificate….

Document as proof of stay in Sweden of the invitee (hotel book) – this document is not required if the inviter proves accommodation to invite the applicant.

– Proving the applicant’s bond in Vietnam: Red book, other income proof documents, birth certificate, ID card of relatives (dependents).

5. SPANISH VISA PROCEDURES FOR FOREIGNERS

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

1. Passport: valid at least 3 months before the intended date of departure from Shengen territory of the last trip. The passport must have at least 2 blank pages and be issued within the last 10 years. An A4 size copy of all original passport pages (including blank pages). If you have an old passport, you must present the original and submit 1 copy of A4 size of these passports
2. Resume of the visa applicant, according to the form
3. One color photo taken in the last 6 months, passport size, straight face, white background.
4. Travel insurance: quote when knowing the return date
5. Return flight booking – booking tickets
6. Proof of purpose and itinerary: In case of self-sufficient travel: hotel booking
7. Proof of personal economic condition: If you are a salaryman, you must submit a labor contract, leave letter signed by the employer (clearly stating title), the latest 3-month salary (form)
8. If you have a bank account or sub-book, you must submit the statement of the last 3 months. If not using a bank account, it is necessary to submit a clear declaration not to use an account signed by the visa applicant;
9. Marriage certificate and birth certificate of the visa applicant’s children, household registration book (if any)
10. Documents proving legal ownership of real estate, if any
11. Proof of personal affordability: during the stay in the Schengen territory
12. Personal bank statements can be submitted within the last 3 months, guaranteed checks, traveler’s cheques, payment confirmation letters and credit cards with verification of existing account balances or passbooks
13. For foreigners living in Vietnam only: residence permit or equivalent.
