1. General information about US visas.

A citizen of a foreign national seeking to enter the United States generally must first obtain a U.S. visa, which is placed in the traveler’s passport, which is issued by the traveler’s home country.

In the case of a US visa, the issuance of a US visa will depend on the results of the interview with the consular department and the ORIGINAL documents presented by the visa applicant. The original documents will be returned after collating with the translation. When necessary, applicants may be asked to provide additional documents and documents.

– US visa applicants must legally stay in Vietnam, visa applications must be submitted at least 15 days before the intended date of travel, usually the consular department will process the application within 10 working days.

– Applicants must apply for a US visa in person at the Admission Office according to the booked appointment (online). Do not accept applications through travel agencies, do not authorize individuals, friends or relatives. After the interview, the applicant who is denied a visa will be returned all documents on the spot, the visa applicant will be forwarded by delivery to the registered address.

– The application is considered based on the documents provided by the applicant (Incomplete documents may be refused a visa).

– All documents must be accompanied by certified copies and originals for comparison. Note: All documents that are originals submitted will be more valuable than submitting copies.

2. Basic procedures for issuing a US visa.

– Financial proof documents: Passbook, bank account statement, balance confirmation.

– A statement confirming parental authority for minor applicants traveling without parents, accompanied by copies of ID cards, passports of both applicants.

3. Detailed procedures according to the purpose of entering the US.

– The original invitation letter of the organization or business in the US, the invitation letter is composed in English, please ensure that the letter includes the inviter’s details, the inviter’s details, personal identity details, the list of invitees, the invitation address, contact information, etc  The duration and purpose of the stay and the relationship of that company (person) to the applicant, the party paying the cost of the trip, the detailed itinerary of the trip.

– Business registration of the inviting company, the passport of the person signing the invitation letter.

– Documents as proof of stay in the US (book hotel).

– Business registration of the company in Vietnam, confirmation of tax payment; Decide on the work of the company whose personnel are invited.

– Account statement of the company in Vietnam in the last 12 months.

– Documents proving the commercial relationship between the 2 parties.

* U.S. visa for visiting purposes.

– The original invitation letter of the individual who is a resident of the United States, please ensure that it includes the inviter’s details, the invite’s details, personal identity details, the list of invitees, the inviting address, contact information, the time and purpose of stay, and the inviter’s relationship with the invitee,  The party pays the cost of the trip, accompanied by the inviter’s passport.

– Proof of employment, income, finances and accommodation of the inviter.

– Documents proving the relationship: Birth certificate, Marriage registration certificate….

Document as proof of invite’s U.S. stay (hotel book) – this document is not required if the inviter proves accommodation to invite the applicant.

There are 2 types of traveling to the US: self-sufficient and organized. Whichever way you go, an invitation will be required. This type of visa is for companies in the US, inviting representatives of Vietnamese partners to come to the US. For work desks or short-term training. Therefore, the company in Vietnam will send 1 individual to go on a business trip. This means that companies in the US are not allowed to invite 1 individual directly.
