Kingdom of the Netherlands

1. General information about Dutch visa

When visitors enter and exit the Netherlands, foreign nationals are required to have a valid passport, or an alternative document other than the accompanying visa.

The issuance of short-term Dutch (Schengen) visas is currently carried out according to the circumstances and according to the assessment for each individual case, with criteria such as the purpose of the trip and the intended time of return.

– Dutch visa applicants must legally stay in Vietnam.

– Visa applications must be submitted as early as 3 months or at least 15 days before the intended date of travel.

– Dutch visa applicants must submit the student in person at the Application Centre according to the scheduled appointment. The biological data (10 fingerprints and digital photo) is taken when applying for a visa.

– The application is considered based on the documents provided by the applicant (Incomplete documents may be refused a visa).

When necessary, Dutch visa applicants may be invited to an interview and asked to provide additional documents.

– All documents in Vietnamese must be accompanied by a notarized translation into Dutch or English.

– All documents must be accompanied by translations and originals for comparison.

– Documents and documents must be A4 paper size, documents by fax and e-mail are not accepted.

2. Basic procedures for issuing a Dutch visa.

– Complete the Dutch visa application form, print the application and sign it personally, provide 02 photos of 3.5×4.5cm white background (face area accounts for 80% of the photo area).

– Passport (must have at least 2 blank pages, issued within 10 years, validity remains at least three months until visa expiry).

– Proof of transportation (book airfare, or other means).

– Travel, health and accident insurance (insurance of at least €30,000) for the Schengen area.

– Identity documents: ID card, household registration book, marriage registration, birth certificate.

– Proof of employment documents.

+ Business owner, legal representative of the enterprise: Business registration, member confirmation, tax payment confirmation of the company…

+ Employees: Labor contracts, appointment decisions, personnel reception, salary confirmation, social insurance.

+ For students: Confirmation of the school’s learning.

+ For retirees: Documents proving pension rights.

+ For foreigners living and working in Vietnam: Work permit, legal stay visa valid for at least 3 months.

– A statement confirming parental authority for minor applicants traveling without parents, accompanied by copies of ID cards, passports of both applicants.

3. Detailed procedures according to the purpose of Dutch visa.

* Dutch visa for Tourism purposes.

– Original Invitation to Guarantee:

+ From a tour company in the Netherlands accompanied by legal documents of the tour company.

+ From 1 individual who is a citizen of the Netherlands or a foreigner residing long-term in the Netherlands: Provide the guarantor’s passport, accommodation facility; Provide documents proving employment, income, finance, personal account statements; Documents proving each relationship between the applicant and the sponsor.

– Detailed itinerary for the duration of your stay in the Netherlands and Schengen member states.

– Financial proof documents: Passbook, bank account statement, balance confirmation.

– Documents as proof of stay in the Netherlands (book hotel).

– Proving the applicant’s bond in Vietnam: Red book, other income proof documents, birth certificate, ID card of relatives (dependents).

* Dutch visa for Business purposes.

– The original invitation letter of the organization or business in the Netherlands, please ensure that it includes the inviter’s details, the inviter’s details, detailed personal identity, the list of invitees, the inviting address, contact information, the time and purpose of stay and the relationship of the company (person) to the applicant,  The party paying the cost of the trip, the itinerary details the trip.

– Information about fairs and conferences to participate in (if any)

– The passport side of the person signing the invitation.

– Documents as proof of stay in the Netherlands (book hotel).

– Business registration of the company in Vietnam, confirmation of tax payment.

– Account statement of the company in Vietnam in the last 6 months.

– Personal account statement

– Decide on the work of the company whose personnel are invited.

– Documents proving the commercial relationship between the 2 parties.

* Dutch visa for visiting relatives.

– Original invitation letter of the individual who is a citizen in the Netherlands, please ensure that it includes the inviter’s details, the invite’s details, personal identity details, the list of invitees, the inviting address, contact information, the time and purpose of stay and the inviter’s relationship with the invitee,  The party pays the cost of the trip, accompanied by the inviter’s passport.

– Certificate of guarantee in the correct form and certified by the provincial authority of the Netherlands.

– Proof of employment, income, finances, personal account statement, accommodation of the inviter.

– Documents proving the relationship: Birth certificate, Marriage registration certificate….

– Financial proof documents: Passbook, bank account statement, balance confirmation.

Document as proof of invitee’s stay in the Netherlands (hotel book) – this document is not needed if the inviter proves accommodation to invite the applicant.

– Proving the applicant’s bond in Vietnam: Red book, other income proof documents, birth certificate, ID card of relatives (dependents).

Netherlands visa application

1. Passport, identity card, household registration
2. Image 4.5 x 3.5 white background 2 shots, note to take clear photos.
3. Financial proof: passbook over VND 100 million and balance confirmation.
4. Return airfare, hotel booking in Netherlands’if applicable)
5. Job confirmation: specify company information, confirm monthly salary, labor contract, contact address.
6. Leave application (the business owner provides a copy of the business license, tax in the last 3 months).
7. Certificate of land use right of the visa applicant in the name (or: father/mother, spouse, brother/sister/brother).
8. Marriage certificate (or confirmation of singleness).

Dutch visa application for visiting relatives

☑ Documents from Vietnam

• Foreign trade contracts, bill of landing, L/C, quotation letters, email quotations exchanged during cooperation.
• Passport + photo 3.5×4.5 white background 2 plates.
• Business registration certificate, tax payment receipt for the last 3 months, company account statement for the last 3 months, job nomination letter – labor contract (for company employees).
• Documents proving personal assets of the visa applicant.
• Global travel insurance (quotes when there are departure and return dates).

 

Long-term visa with company sponsor

Similar to the above business visa application but largely depends on the content of the invitation letter as well as the letter of guarantee from the Netherlands.
